Idolmaster - Who put the Bomp

Ah, such a "classic" MAD from リ ヨ (Riyo) and へぼピーナッP (Hebo-peanut-P).

Check out more of Riyo's stuff on his pixiv here.

And more of the video here.

Clannad Ace Combat

Just like yesterday, I looked around Nico Nico and found some Ace Combat crossovers. This is one them, and it's so ridiculous that it's funny.

In other news (or lack thereof), the translation patch for Clannad is still not done... I guess I'll wait patiently before playing it as always. Even if it's pretty much 99.9% complete.

Or until Little Busters gets an anime. I wish.

Idolm@ster Ace Combat

Although I've known about the crossovers and DLC for a while... this little video of Ace Combat with Idolm@ster is one of the really awesome ones. Epic music with ridiculous narration. Crazy dog fights with idols singing and dancing. Amazing.

And of course, there's some extra enjoyment to be had when you watch it with the comments on Nico Nico.

And this one below shows off some of the skins that you can get when you sell your soul to buy DLC from Bandai Namco's various Ace Combat games. Amazingly ridiculous, but also quite cool at the same time.

Makes me want to play those Ace Combat games now. If only for the great soundtrack.

Namassuka!? Sunday Live is READY!!

Are you Re@dy?

Namassuka!? Sunday! Are we Live!? Sunday!

So Bandai Namco decided to have a live event akin to the variety show in the anime called "Namassuka!? Sunday". It just aired on Sunday (go figure), and it was a pretty crazy event indeed, ending with the 4 seiyuu singing and dancing READY!!, the anime opening, with cheering and all! Poor Manami... she had to endure the Manami Challenge, while getting tortured by Eriko and her trolling.

The seiyuu that were present were Manami Numakura, Hiromi Hirata, Eriko Nakamura, and Azumi Asakura, who voice Hibiki, Makoto, Haruka, and Yukiho respectively. Kind of sad to not see Asami Imai (voice of Chihaya) and Akiko Hasegawa (voice of Miki) show up, since they were the co-hosts of the original "Namassuka!? Sunday" episode.

Here's hoping that more neat live events like this happen!

And here's the full version on Nico Nico Douga, although all in all, it's one hour long.

Mr Ando of the Woods

An... interesting video found through TextFugu, that one Japanese learning site. Just watch it, it's kind of hard to describe without giving it away.

Brand New Day of Precog

New DLC catalog for Idolm@ster 2 reveals "Brand New Day!", the image song of Hibiki. Now the big news is... the reveal of Eri Mizutani, the 2nd 876 production member to join the game as both a rival and someone to use in the S4U mode. Of course, she comes along with her signature song "Precog", with "shiny smile" as an extra!

This means that the last member of 876pro is going to be coming in the next catalog...

Can't wait!

THE IDOLMASTER CINDERELLA MASTER

Left to Right; Top: Rin, Anzu, Kanako. Bottom: Kaede, Rika.

All of a sudden, Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls now has official CDs coming along. To think that a mere mobile game spin-off would actually gain enough popularity to have products.
As for the idol choices, Anzu and Kanako were a given. So is Rin. However Rika and Kaede sort of come out of nowhere.
Now to wait intently for who's going to voice them.

And see how much cash people are willing to spend to make this project sucessful.

Renai Circulation: Iori & Eri duet

Iori and Eri. Rie Kugimiya and Kana Hanazawa. A great mix of two super popular seiyuu, and also some nice seiyuu referencing in there as well, with Kana Hanazawa doing the voice of Nadeko from Bakemonogatari. Time to find more of these Idolm@ster anime cover songs.

Fortune Summoners: Magic Little Girls

Arche in red. Sana in blue. Stella in purple. And something in white...

Magical little girls, ho!

Attempted to actually play through a bit more of the demo for Fortune Summoners. Fun times to be had with Arche and her sword slashing and drop kicking. How awesome (and dangerous) it would be to fight Slimes on the way to school! And a magic school at that! The magic seems to be a little bit more flashy though.

I can already see that this game has a certain charm to it not unlike Recettear. Both of them translated by Carpe Fulgur, so I expect some nice localization mixed in.

Among other ridiculous sounding games.

Do-Dai : Mecha Chihaya Version

What the heck? So the whole Kisaragi Mecha thing has been going on for a while huh...

READY for more SD Idolmaster?

Almost every Idolm@ster joke/meme is in this video. And it is glorious.

IM@S - Little Match Girl

Ever since I saw this in the anime, I grew to really like it. Now I'm impatiently waiting for a full version of this song with Yukiho as lead. It's like this song was made for Yukiho.

Catch you Catch me

Source

I watch the first two episodes of Cardcaptor Sakura again. Got to say that it is still quite enjoyable to watch even with low quality TV rips. The animation still far exceeds many of today's lazily done shows. I hope to actually finish this wonderful series sometime this year. Perhaps I should invest in getting the glorious Blurays.

Of course I can't leave this post without having the nice opening.

THE iDOLMASTER: READY!! to CHANGE!!!!

The cast. Oh how I'll miss their antics. At least there's tons of songs! | Source

Just marathoned the final few episodes of "THE iDOLM@STER" anime. Got to say that it was very awesome and I can't wait for a second season! Here's hoping that the 876pro gets featured some more.

And maybe some idols from Cinderella Girls, but I doubt it.

Here It Goes Again - Idolmaster MMD version

The somewhat silly music video by OK Go gets even more silly and awesome when done in MikuMikuDance with Idolm@ster characters.

It's as if everything has a Touhou/Vocaloid/Idolm@ster parody. Or else it will be created... someday.

Go the Distance to a Whole New World Under The Sea

Found this old CD while I was cleaning up my room. Includes plenty of very nice nostalgic Disney songs including "Go the Distance" from Hercules, "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, "Under The Sea" from the Little Mermaid, and other classics.

Also, remember when McDonald's had CDs?

A Wonderful Festival in the Winter of 2012

Wonder Festival 2012 (Winter) or WonFes just happened. It's basically a toy/garage kit festival full of tons of stuff that I can't afford.

Flandre plush from Gift!
I want more Touhou plushies.
Snow Miku Nendroid from Good Smile Company!
What's with all the Snow Miku now?

And a lot more stuff got announced/released during this Wonderful Festival!

(may update this with more of the interesting stuff... or maybe not)

Nendroid Generation

Nendroid RPG filled with characters from multiple universes? Sounds like a great idea to me. All these collaboration games!

Friday, 10 February 2012

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

Cute chibi Final Fantasy characters in a FF-themed rhythm game? Sounds like a good idea to me. Perhaps this will cause the 3Ds to pick up the tempo. Got to try and beat the Vita somehow.

Makotoloid - Heartcatch☆Paradise!

More human power Vocaloids!

Sounds pretty nice, and Makoto's voice fits really well. Reminds me that I have yet to finish Heartcatch Pretty Cure... Must continue watching for awesome magical girl brawls and Nana Mizuki!

[IA] Imagination Forest [PV]

IA, the new vocaloid with Lia as a the voice bank. Sounds a bit like Miku in this PV, but she's pretty alright the original Lia songs like "Tori no Uta" and "My Soul, Your Beats".

Now this PV is very nicely made. I'm not exactly sure about the details, but I know it's about a Medusa/Gorgon girl. The style kind of reminds me of Ano Hana.

melt - 秋川雅史 version

Apparently the voice is from Masafumi Akikawa (秋川雅史). Pretty impressive "human power vocaloid".

Yayoiloid - Black Rock Shooter

Yayoi as a vocaloid-esque singer plus Black Rock Shooter = some crazy stuff going on.

So called "Human powered Vocaloids" (or 人力VOCALOID), they take the individual syllables from the original person's songs and stuff. Pretty interesting effect they have.

Tegami Bachi: Courier of the Heart

[Tegami Bachi Volume 2 Image here]

Hooray for catching up on backlog!
Tegami Bachi (or Letter Bee) is a pretty interesting series.
Oh how great Niche is. Lag is cool too. And we mustn't forget Steak!

Persona 4 The Ultimate

The trailer

The Opening

PS3/Xbox360 Fighting game by Arc System Works with Persona 4 (and Persona 3) characters? Sounds like a plan to me.

Hilarious "titles" for each character as well. Like Yu, who's the "Sister Complex Banchou of Steel." They sure know the love that Nanako gets from player(s)!

Idolm@ster SD!?

"The World is All One" in... Chibi/SD Idolm@ster form!?

Amazingly well done 3DCG video. Props to whoever made it.

Te-te-te-: The Idolm@ster Way

Well then, random old video that I haven't watched before.

The original "Te-te-te" song is actually BGM from Idolm@ster, so that's way before Miku and co. did it. Of course, most of the videos are still Idolm@ster related, but it seemed to have lost that origin as it reached English Youtube.
