An Enka AKB
Her latest song from this year.
Her debut single.
Sifting through more and more AKB48 content landed me on this one girl: Iwasa Misaki, or Wasamin.
She has an amazing voice, and it especially shows in her debut with enka! Definitely one of the top vocalists of AKB48. Such a great feeling to know that she got a solo debut.

Arigatou Gojaimasu
Completely out of nowhere, a wild Korean video has appeared! Except it's in Japanese?
I just came across this hilarious piece of work with one simple, yet catchy tune.
Arigatou Gojaimasu for this fun video.

Nostalgia AKB Trip through Videos
Today was a long day of watching old PVs for AKB48, with a whole bunch that were not on the AKB48 official Youtube channel.
I started with "Sakura no Hanabiratachi", then "Aitakatta", which were the most nostalgia inducing. I remember listening to these years ago, before AKB48 got huge. "Aitakatta" was the most catchy tune back then and it still is now. I remember just downloading these two songs, and never coming back to check out the rest of their releases for the rest of these years. Little did I know that this niche group filled to the brim with girls would end up being best-selling juggernauts of the Japanese music industry.
"Sakura no Hanabiratachi" Original
"Aitakatta" English subbed. Oh the nostalgia.
Then I went through a whole bunch of other videos until I got a bit sick of simply watching PVs for these songs that didn't really catch my attention. It was a good chance to recognize some of the idols though, since there were a lot more solo parts back then. I did find the "edgy" songs a bit interesting, especially since the PVs are a far cry of their current PVs and songs. I wonder if they'll ever have a chance to tackle these themes again.
Tons more videos to watch, but so little time. I ought to finish those posts about Momoiro Clover too.

Into the SONE
"secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~" performed by SONE, featuring Miichan, Kitarie, Myao, and Sasshi.
Best AKB48 unit? I think yes.
Watch the video for the BEST cover of secret base (by ZONE) ever.
I actually first saw this during the Request Hour 2013. Though not "new" at all, I found it absolutely hilarious, and somehow this one is even more so.

"THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE" Announcement + PV!
プロデューサーさん、劇場版ですよ、劇場版!!!idolmaster-anime.jp #imas #project_imas
— アイドルマスター (@imas_anime) February 10, 2013
It's a movie! A movie!
So yes, there was an official announcement for an Idolm@ster anime movie, aptly named "THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE" for now. The staff behind this is pretty much identical to the anime series with A-1 Pictures animating, Atsushi Nishigori directing, and double team script writing with Tatsuya Takahashi.
More details to follow on February the 28th in the April Issue of Megami Magazine.
And here's the English text that flashed throughout the PV, which is also currently on the Idolm@ster homepage here :
The idols of 765 Productions continue on their never ending journey,
--towards a new stage, towards a bright and shiny future!
Girls and their producer have gone through thick and thin,
and have stood face to face with all kinds of difficulties.
It's time again for the girls to foster their friendship,
and through great discipline they step forward to their starry future
in an all new production, we present to you "THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE"

Nakano Spring Live from 2011
So today I spent most of the day watching even more Momoiro Clover stuff including the first disk of the 4.10 Haru no Ichidaiji 2011 concert which was actually Momoclo All Stars 2011. It featured some neat stuff including solo songs, unit songs, and even Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku (aka Ebichu), the sister group of Momoclo.
Here's a video of Momoka's solo song " ありがとうのプレゼント" (Arigato no Present)
And Kanako "太陽とえくぼ" (Taiyou to Ekubo) aka Sun and Dimples! With Ebichu!
This hilarious song by DekoMayu (Forehead and Eyebrows!) who are Kanako and Akarin.
Plus a bunch of other stuff that you may or may not find on youtube. The intro sequence and Pinky Jones with the masks is an especially unique moment probably not found in many other lives. I also really liked "Tsuyoku Tsuyoku" even if it was a cover song. The missing Ano Sora he Mukatte was different, though it did end up playing (albeit the normal ending instrumental).
And also got a new free phone. It's quite slow compared to my other one, though it probably has a better chance of being updated to Jelly Bean.

Seinaru Sora no Shita de - Live
Konoka Konoe and Setsuna Sakurazaki! Ai Nonaka and Yuu Kobayashi!
I watched this a while back when I was in the mood for searching old Negima lives with Azumin. Then I came across this gem and it brought back lots of memories indeed. Even though the costumes were so silly, they still performed great!
Now I just have to finish up the manga... and anime movie... and Negima!?

Yanagi Nagi - Packaged
Found this a while back looking for F9/Kiyono songs. Then I came across this from -PF Audio- who actually have albums with various artists including F9 and Nagi. This album "a blue." in particular has some original songs along with some rearranges of kz (livetune) songs with Nagi on vocals. It's pretty nice.

Makoto's Stayin' Alive
Some had the bright idea of putting Makoto's Jitensha PV from Shiny Festa together with "Stayin' Alive". And it works really well for the first 40 seconds with that Makoto's strolling around in the hallway.

Puchimasu PV!
PUCHIMASU ANIME!
Yay! I can't believe this is actually happening. This was such a great announcement to end the Namassuka Sunday Special that happened during the final day of Tokyo Game Show 2012. All that Shiny Festa gameplay was nice and all, but this was also really big!
For those not in the know, go look up the Puchimasu (Petit Idolm@ster) manga. It's really cute and fun, plus the the Idolm@ster girls is great in it. Akane's art is great, that it's unfortunate that the anime doesn't have the exact same style, but I'm still happy that it's getting something.

Idolm@ster Shiny Festa 3rd PV
Shiny Festa! This one shows the in-game music videos exclusive to the 3 games. It also confirms some songs to get a sort of in-game treatment like "Next Life".
I'm really liking the "Music" song they used at the end.
