Persona[lizing] my Desktop in the Rain[meter]

The day before, I was randomly search up some P3P videos. Then I stumbled upon a desktop that had a nice looking calendar that looked kind of like...

Then I thought that was pretty cool, probably a Rainmeter skin of something. So I searched it up and found it here. I wondered if there was more.


Then I found this...

But I thought that it didn't match my desktop colours enough. So then I added this and now my desktop has a fancy Persona 3 and 4 style weather thing.

My laptop's beautiful desktop. Although I should really clean up those icons.

Now back to find cool skins for Rainmeter again. It's been a long time since I've last played with it.

Day 1, Week 2; Day 1, Week 1

Bye bye Shinji. I won't be missing you.

Finished up the "First Selection" or first week of Fate/Extra by beating up Shinji and his Servant. Tons of fun to be had with an over leveled Saber. Rider's Noble Phantasm? Cheese.

Rider's pretty cool though.

Now on to the "Second Selection."




Also had my first day of classes for this term. Hooray for getting let out early!

So I ended up choosing Saber, since I didn't want to have a difficult time with the game. Pretty nice choice as she hits pretty hard and isn't that difficult to train with. I'm currently about halfway through the first week, and it's funny how Shinji's Servant isn't even the slightest bit annoyed at him. Anyways, cool game so far, can't wait to get a Noble Phantasm and find out Saber's true identity.




Oh and finally get a chance to beat Shinji.

Yep, just before the break ends I decide to try out Fate/Extra, while my bro plays Persona 3 Portable.

It seems quite promising so far, although the dialogue translation seems really awkward. I also thought you could change your gender, but that doesn't seem to be the case yet. Stuck as a boring everyman in this school with badass teachers, crazy lighting, and hallway structure not unlike the school in Persona 4. I still haven't had a chance to choose my Servant yet..

It's a hard choice... On the one hand, Saber is apparently easy to play with and hits like a truck. On the other hand, look at Caster's character design! It's completely different from the other Casters in the Fate series. Then there's the voice actors. Saber is voiced by the none other than Sakura Tange. Sakura from Card Captor Sakura, voicing Saber? Woah. Caster is voiced by Chiwa Saito, recently known for Homu-homu Homura from Puella Magi Magica Madoka.

Oh well, I hope to be able to play this game even with the next school term coming up..

Day 2 of 2012

Just came back from a 2 day shopping "road trip" in Washington. Stuff in the States are quite a bit cheaper than those in Canada. Didn't get much though.

But I got a neat shirt.

And saw some neat stores.
