Day 2. Much better than day 1. Wore a silly shirt.
20th Anniverary for Sailor Moon! The Sailor Moon dub cast was here including Mars, Jupiter, Moon, Artemis (the cat), Mini-Moon, and Tuxedo Mask. Names? Search them up yourself. But I'll update this later, I can't remember exactly off the top of my head, except for Sugar. All the nostalgia it induced. Starting with a performance of the Sailor Moon theme, and another song plus a ballad song by the guy crossplaying as Sailor Moon. Lots of fun and informative stuff like the various catchphrases, talking about the industry and what not. I'm looking forward to the new series coming out next year. True "simulcasting" this time.
[Update] So the guests that came were, in order of introductions, Katie Griffin (Mars), Susan Roman (Jupiter), Terri Hawkes (Moon), Ron Rubin (Artemis), Sugar Lyn Beard (Mini Moon), and Vincent Corazza (Texedo Mask).
Vendors and more vendors. Spotted some stuff (manga) to buy tomorrow. Contemplated going to Maid/Cosplay Cafe, but the line-up was confusing and the prices were expensive as usual.
Walking around appreciating the cosplay. Lost my chance to take some of a Velvet and Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere. More Touhou like Remilia, Flandre with glasses, Marisa. Sadly no Cirno. There were still the Manrisa, Reiman, and Alice-man. Gintama crew there. Of course Sailor Moon and co.
Afternoon, went to "The Bright Side of Jouji Nakata" with Jouji Nakata. He's known for Alucard from Hellsing, Kirei Kotomine from Fate/series, Diethard (the reporter guy) from Code Geass, Giroro from Sgt. Frog, and lots of other things. That deep voice. So very nice. Doing the voice for Giroro for us was quite funny. The funniest moment in my opinion was when he was asked to tell us which character in his series was the most "moe". The answer? Otoo-san from Working!! Aww, he's so moe searching for his wife forever. Another one was when he saw a Zero cosplayer and acknowledged him right away. The back and forth between them was short but fun. Plenty of Fate series questions asked, along with a few Hellsing stuff. Apparently the shows he watched recently include AKB0048, Kuroko no Baske, and Uchuu Kyodai. Watches shows with familiar voice talents in them apparently. Hope to see him again tomorrow at his other panel, and perhaps get an autograph.
Hanged out with some friends and wandered as usual. Then I went to the Funimation Sneak Peek Panel. Only stayed for 30 minutes since I had to line up for the concert. It was good to see [C]: Control. There were some previews for "Anime Classics" like Ergo Proxy and Texhnolyze. Other stuff included Hetalia, Ai Yori Aoshi, Asobi ni Ikuyou (though it was some Cat whatever name in English), Freezing and Shangri La. And then I left with 30 minutes left in the panel. I wonder if they got free stuff? Some people in the Aniplex Panel apparently got Kyubey masks earlier.
Next was a long wait in line for the concert. There were 2 bands called "11 to Midnight" and "Leilica". There was also a duo of sorts at the beginning with a girl on one of those drum box things and a guy on guitar.Apparently they are called "Rewrite Jr." and it's all acoustics so it was nice. The guy also got to jam with 11 to Midnight as well. Rewrite Jr. did "Butterfly" from Digimon! That was a nice throwback to olden days. Also did a One Piece and another one I think. 11 to Midnight did two songs from Full Metal Alchemist that I don't remember the names to. Then they did two original songs. Afterwards, Leilica came out. More cover songs yay. They started with Super Driver the Haruhi Suzumiya season 2 opening. Then an FMA song I believe, followed by Fude Pen from K-on! Then they ended with a somewhat faster and more exciting version of "Melt", a Hatsune Miku song by Ryo of Supercell. That was pretty fun. They did do some mistakes, but it can't be helped. Unfortunately the whole concert was running late, so there was no encore. Too bad. Maybe next time we should get glowsticks.
After that, I decided to head home with a friend. A big Gintama fan who met another Gintama fan on the train, and they talk the whole way home.
Fun day, and now I sleep since tomorrow is the final day.
Forgive me if anything is wrong. Sleep deprivation does that.
