THE IDOLM@STER組曲 (Kumikyoku) 7th Anniversary Live Special

Nico First Part

Nico Last Part

Watched this really fun stream that consisted of hour long medleys plus some talk between with Eriko Nakamura, Kami (Naomi Wakabayashi) and two song composers. The two who were there are Koji Nakagawa and Tetsuya Uchida. During the medleys themselves, there were comments from lyricists and other composers (probably) too. Except they were online only. Some included were yura and mft. There were also the typical merchandise marketing plus the 2nd PV of Shiny Festa was reaired.

I believe the first medley was filled with songs used during the 7th Anniversary Live. All very recognizable songs including the ever so prominent READY!! of course. They even had a Te-te-te part.

They had a second mini-medley filled with very new songs including the recently released Cinderella Master albums, plus the M@STER versions of both "Kyun~ Vampire Girl" and "Nanairo Botan"! Nanairo Botan sounded great and I'm looking forward to the full version in September.

The final medley was a mix of a lot of different songs, starting out with anime original songs and the nice Perfect Idol songs. Then I believe it followed with various songs used in the anime. It even had the ever so beautiful "Yakusoku" TV version plus "Watashitachi wa Zutto... Deshou?" and "Issho". I don't quite remember the final song, but it ended... until we all called for an encore! Then it went with a mix of the favorite encore songs: Go My Way!!, THE iDOLM@STER, CHANGE!!!! and READY!!

What I loved about the medleys were the ridiculous amounts of scrolling comments, plus the comments by the voice actors, the DJ behind all this, and the composers and lyricists. I have never watched one of these Kumikyoku's before, so this experience was very fun and fresh to me. The comments changed colours whenever it is a certain idol or idol group's song. Following their main colours, although it was a bit tough to do Makoto's colour since it wasn't part of the free colour comment set. The comments basically made this into some net concert with all the lyrics following along and the "Hai hai hai" comments as well. The comments kept on going well after the official part of the stream was over, ending with over 1.9 million comments.
