Jormungand volume 1.
I didn't exactly think this was my cup of tea, but it ended up being better than I thought. The silly yet badass Koko, the cute little boy soldier Johan, and the eye-patched but a little crazy Valmet are some of the characters that really made the first volume. I expect pretty much everyone to be interesting, but I think the focus has been on these three.
Maybe I should watch the anime. Seeing Koko's antics and plans would be really nice to watch.
